BAY CITY MI (CLOSE TO JULY 4TH)

Bay City Fireworks festival is an annual event perfect for families – Festival rides, foods, and games galore.  We stayed at the Double Tree Hilton Riverfront and their lawn is the perfect spot to watch the fireworks (see pic below of crowd).

Make sure to leave time for perusing the antique shops and small businesses downtown.

On the way, we stopped at Tony’s since we were told we had to try this place and it was originally on the DDD show.

Another note:  Birch Run shopping outlet is also near here and a great spot to find some deals.
